2026 Stark Varg EX

Street-legal electric enduro from Barcelona: 60 or 80 hp, KYB suspension, and A1 eligibility

Price: €12,900 (standard, 44 kW)

The Varg EX is the street-legal version of the Stark Varg MX and the most powerful A1 electric motorcycle on the market. Despite up to 59 kW peak output (optional upgrade), it qualifies as a light motorcycle thanks to A1-compliant continuous output. The fixed 7.2 kWh battery charges in around two hours using the standard charger, and riding time can reach up to six hours depending on terrain. KYB suspension with 300 mm travel and Brembo brakes are standard.

The 990 mm seat height significantly limits accessibility. There is no ABS and no fast-charging option. The target group consists of experienced off-road riders with A1 licenses seeking maximum off-road performance in a street-legal package.

The KTM Freeride E offers less power but a removable battery and lower seat height. The Can-Am Origin is more road-oriented and comes with a developing dealer network in Germany. The NIU XQi 500 is lighter and lower but not yet available in Germany.
