2026 Peugeot XP 400 GT

Gold fork, spoked wheels, and tinted screen — the premium version of the French adventure scooter

Price: €7,999

As the top version of the XP 400 family, the GT differs from the Allure through a gold USD fork, tubeless cross-spoke wheels, tinted windscreen, and crash bars — features that visually bring it closer to an adventure touring motorcycle. The 399 cc single-cylinder from the Metropolis produces 37 hp and 38 Nm, while Brembo four-piston calipers on 295 mm dual front discs provide strong braking performance. A TFT display with navigation and 140 mm front suspension travel are standard.

There is no step-through, the knee angle is tight, and the firm suspension requires adaptation. At 231 kg and 815 mm seat height, the GT is not an easy city scooter, and quick direction changes require active rider input. Riders who prioritize comfort over dynamics are better served by the Allure — technically identical and around €400 cheaper.

The direct competitor is the Honda X-ADV: more comfort, less braking performance. Close behind is the Aprilia SR GT 400: lighter, cheaper, but without the distinctive adventure styling of the Peugeot. The BMW C 400 GT is more comfortable but more conventional.
