2026 Kawasaki Ninja e-1

Electric entry-level sportbike with removable batteries and A1 compatibility

Price: €6,595

The Ninja e-1 brings Kawasaki’s sportbike design language into the electric A1 class. The electric motor delivers 9 kW peak output, with E-Boost mode providing short bursts of additional performance.

Two removable 1.5 kWh battery packs allow flexible charging, but range remains limited at 72 km (WMTC). There is no fast-charging capability.

At 140 kg and with a low seat height, the Ninja e-1 is easy to handle. It is clearly aimed at urban riders and commuters who value styling and simplicity over long-distance capability.

Compared to the Honda CUV e:, the Kawasaki offers more motorcycle-like styling but similar range. The BMW CE 02 targets a different audience with a more experimental design and higher price.
